THE GhFITLAB STORY
In 1999, Greg Hachaj left mainstream fitness clubs to open his own personal training business. By combining his experience as a champion body builder with his leadership skills from managing traditional gyms, Greg built a successful business based upon the science of coaching clients towards their greatest level of health. He established three thriving locations throughout Chicagoland catering primarily to the city’s prosperous clientele.
In 2007, Mark Grazman, a venture capitalist, healthcare executive and social entrepreneur, became one of these clients — seeking relief from over 12 years of chronic back issues, Mark hired Greg to become his coach. Mark was pain free in 9 months.
Greg and Mark decided to combine their backgrounds to bring Greg’s revolutionary exercise protocol to more people in need of it. In 2011 the team brought in Dr. Uri Heller from Adler University to develop cutting-edge motivational assessment and psychological coaching tools.
Now grounded in a protocol with consistent success, they turned their attention to incorporating exercise into the medical system, positioning themselves as the destination where doctors could send their patients suffering from anything from chronic pain to high-risk conditions.
Starting in 2012, GhFitlab began a series of clinical trials in order to study the effect of the Gh Method. By 2014 the first study results were finalized and submitted to a peer-reviewed medical journals; as a result our clinical trials have been published.
